Jonathan Benya
Team Leader

A Realtor for over 5 years, Jonathan has helped numerous home owners throughout Maryland. Jonathan’s team of real estate pro’s are highly trained on EXACTLY how to work with banks and home owners to get short sales approved!

As a Realtor, Jonathan prides himself on giving his clients the best service possible – and that includes being honest and not sugar coating anything. He believes that, although the truth may sometimes sting, it is always in the best interest of his clients to be up front about their situation. His goal is not a commission check, it is helping his clients.

Over the years, Jonathan has found the greatest reward in assisting homeowners through a short sale and avoiding foreclosure. He excels at getting the best deals from the banks, with many of his clients walking away with cash in their pocket! With his great short sale success rate, it’s no wonder past clients always recommend Jonathan to their family and friends for any real estate transactions!

Yvonne Lee

Yvonne entered into the real estate industry after 15 years of selling experience in the advertising & telecommunications industry. During her prior career, she worked her way up from door to door sales to ultimately managing an entire division of more than 50 sales reps and 5 mid level managers. She also earned multiple awards and trips for her outstanding job performance. After much deliberation, she entered into the real estate industry, bringing along her extensive customer service knowledge and plans to further increase customer service in the real estate industry.

Since working for Keller Williams, Yvonne has worked her way through the ranks again from single agent to joining the top producing team within the brokerage, the SoMDExpert Team. She continues to provide excellent customer service to her clients and is a great asset to her team within Keller Williams.

Buyer Specialist

Servicing the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, Robert is the driving force behind the customer satisfaction of every client he encounters. He holds prior military experience of 7 years as physical therapist asst, and a HR supervisor, he has extensive training, the knowledge and drive to complete the task at hand. He is a mentor, and a very skilled negotiator who is recognized in the local market for getting things done. He’s highly experienced in working with short sales.
As a housing counselor volunteer, he understands the task at hand concerning the volume of homes on the market.  Robert consistently positions his self to seek and obtain the necessary training needed to acquire the current & advanced skills of sales in a changing market. Therefore he is vastly knowledgeable with marketing, networking, and state, local and federal programs. Overall what this means, as part of the SoMD Expert team,  his listings have maximum exposure and his buyer clients receive maximum attention.
Due to his extreme desire to help his clients, he has sought training and certifications such as a Certified Distressed Property Expert.  Robert’s partnering team members currently are rated the highest in Maryland for customer Service. With Jonathan Benya leading the SoMD Expert team, you are sure to have a first class experience .

Karen Benya
Executive Administrator

A native Chicagoan, Karen graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a B.A. in History, With Honors.  She went on to receive her paralegal certification With Honors from Roosevelt University in Chicago.  Upon moving to Maryland, Karen worked in various law firms in Washington, DC in the areas of franchise law and health and education law, assisting attorneys with preparing discovery documents and court filings.

In the fall of 2012, Karen joined our company as the Executive Administrator.  Her strong legal background and professionalism have enabled her to triple the company’s business in the first few months following her arrival.  While she is still involved in client communication and file oversight, Karen mainly spends her days streamlining operations and working with staff to maintain amazing customer service for clients and agents alike.

 

AmberAmber FitzGerald
Listing and Closing Manager

Amber started in March 2013, as Listing Manager, and quickly became our Listing and Closing Manager. She has a background in sales and management.

She is looking at becoming an agent for Keller Williams in the future.

 

 

 

Jessica Lacey
Marketing Specialist

Jessica is a Marketing major at University of Maryland University College and is set to graduate with her bachelors degree May 2013.

She has been working in real estate since June 2012 and joined our team in December 2013.
